


FIREMOON AFFIX
The ‘FIREMOON’ affix was established in 2001. Despite having owned rotties since 1985, we had never considered breeding before because of other commitments. The first quality bitch we bred from was called Monsoon Dancer and by establishing an affix would be the easiest way to track any progeny. The original idea of the name ‘Firemoon’, was to give some form of recognition to Ch. Aucenta Midnite Fireaway, who was Monsoon Dancer’s sire, hence the ‘Fire’ aspect, and ‘moon’ was adapted from the ‘monsoon’ word of our foundation bitch. ‘Firemoon’ was actually the sixth choice on our list submitted to the Kennel Club.
We have continued to use quality lines within the dog show world for our progeny not only for their show potential ie: conformation and movement, but more importantly temperament as this is paramount for the majority of dogs bred go to pet homes. However, our Firemoon affix has done us proud having bred or owned the following dogs and bitches who have qualified for Crufts:
